Re: bargaining power, the drama around Nevada scheduling UM or MSU revealed that UM specifically used its potential home ticket revenue (opportunity cost) as a negotiating tool. Could be that we have no leverage in that regard for replacing a buy game with a September D2 game on quarter system in Davis heat

I love that we've scheduled a home and home with NDSU! There's some great history and respect between the Aggies and the Bison.

"We have a great deal of respect for the North Dakota State program," said head coach Tim Plough. "The sustained success they have had is truly remarkable. We've had a long history of great games against North Dakota State and it feels right playing them again.

"When I was a player at Davis we played them every year in the Great West Conference. I was on the staff in 2019 that went to Fargo and we played a great game. I'm excited our players get to experience Fargo and I'm equally excited that we get to host a program of that caliber in Shredville."

Yes, exactly. They get at least half back at the gate with those guys. Nevada probably got the full amount back. With Davis especially post band-uh you get nothing.

I hope we can schedule Nevada in the future. I think it would be a great game for both schools and I think Aggie fans would travel pretty well to Reno. We don't have the dedicated fan base that Montana State and Montana have yet but interest in the Aggies is on the rise and, if we can continue to makes runs in the playoffs, I think our base will continue to grow. It's an easy, fun trip Aggie to get to Reno. Heck, you can even take the train if you want.
