I seem to remember a story about the Aggie Band intentionally performing their halftime show slow so time ran out for Poly to finish their show. The relationship varied over the years, eventually warming up to joint halftime shows. But up until 2010-ish there was no journey too far and no hour too late to win a battle of the bands. Sad how bad the mismanagement has deteriorated things.

If you pause the video it would work, but the 1140 delay is huge. They are still broadcasting the second and were ready to start the third.
