that’s what I was thinking until I watched the whole game :-). Pretty deflating for Cal. The attendance at memorial stadium was impressive. Analogous to Easter Sunday. Will be interesting to see subsequent attendance on “low Sundays”. I expect eventually back to half capacity at best.

However, they tried a HB pass in the red zone that became a pick six and suddenly Weber had life again. Why go with a trick play when you're up 17 points and can ice the game away with a couple rushes into the endzone?!

Yes, as a Cal fan it was double agonizing because they were few special teams plays from 0-1 loses.
