We are so damn lucky to have him here with other programs throwing that kind of money at him. This speaks volumes about what the rich tradition and values of the Aggie football program mean to him. IMO, this place is as good as it gets...Aggie Pride baby!

also a benefit of hiring alumni. While it can lead to close minded thinking at places like Oregon State or UCLA, it also helps tie them here. Knowing that money is a factor also.

Quality of life matters to Plough. He gets to watch and coach his kids play baseball in the off-season, among other benefits. How many people would love to work and live in their small college town? He's in a great spot, and has earned it

In response to Plough"s comments about his mustache, this is always an uplifting message regarding the importance of quality hair maintanence/grooming. Not mustache-specific, but still relevant.

Yeah, sorry y’all. It’ll be back on Spotify ASAP. They don’t have our clear list for music we have purchased that is featured in the podcast. We’ve provided them the rights but it takes awhile they say.

Good interview with Coach Plough. Let's be clear that he was solicited as a potential HC finalist, not six HC offers.

His viewpoinrs are honest and refreshing, I'm sure players and parents appreciate that. Hopefully we got a few guys rested for the final push.

The quote: "full transparency, there's been six jobs that they've reached out to me and like 'Hey, you interested? You want this job?'

To be contacted 6 different times to interview (assuming FBS) is a big deal.

Its good he's talking about "5, 7 to 10 years out at Davis"

Plough has done a superb job, but every year we get the "best Aggie team ever".

This year is very promising, but we're young. Our wide receiver group appears to have depth, but are untested. Better than last year's crew, or the days of Doss? Same for TEs. Two stud RBs, but better than Larison? Defense has taken a beating.

    Go Ags!

I think as a team we were better last year. Full of seniors. I think we’re more talented this year and if you keep this nucleus we can become a serious contender.

Yes. Plug the defensive studs / holes who graduate w all the grad transfers... Psyk a rare find. Maybe a lengthy receiver, and special teams.

I wonder how we got Psyk to come over… definitely a move from being on the east coast

Psyk himself has stated culture, Plough, and the energy/ambition around the program was big driver

he’s also said the guarantee to play that “bigger” schools couldn’t guarantee was very important

He also said that the opportunity to earn a degree rather than a certificate was a factor. With the new NCAA rules I suspect some schools are offering grad students just a semester scholarship. Some schools have no program offering a masters degree in a year.
