One recruiting cycle ends and another begins!

Our first offer of the 2027 was over a year ago to RB Eli Dukes. Davis was his first offer and has since picked up Ivy and FBS offers. GO AGS!

New offer on 3 star QB Brody Rudnicki from Folsom. He's pushing close to 20 FBS offers already. Seems like a long shot, but you never know! GO AGS!

I firmly believe, especially at QB -- the best QBs in the area should get offered by us, a lot of things happen at the FBS level, injuries, politics, lack of playing time for a number of reasons - these guys should always be able to come back to their home areas and play at a high level at Davis if they're dream of starting at Stanford or starting at Washington just doesn't pan out and they need a reset, or the Gods willing, a place to call home and finish their degree!

Agree, but only for the guys that are a fit for the program and the university. No point offering Rashada types.

Offering the higher profile local recruits is good, free publicity and the logo goes to the top of the kid's X feed for a few days. This was an offer for 2029 or 2030, looks like he'll be heading off on an LDS mission first.

I love this idea. Put a fence around this area and let them know if they get the grades and want to play at Davis you are a priority. From Fairfield to Tahoe this should be ours bread and butter. Look around at all the housing being built in the area. There are a ton of Californian's moving to the Sacramento area and that means new schools and more kids. Davis athletics are in a unique position of being a highly academic school with an emerging athletic department in a growing metro area. Both will grow together and if you play it right, Davis could become the UCLA of the Sacramento area.
