Hopefully, the Mighty Ducks can handle Portland State.

    The Pacifico Picks:

Portland State @ Oregon: Portland State. Shows up, takes the check, and leaves in a body bag. Perhaps the Ducks overlooked Okie State and had their sites set on the Viks?

Southern Utah @ St. Thomas: Southern Utah
    CCSU @ Montana State: MSU
    Abilene Christian @ Idaho: ACU
EWU @ Washington: Steve Miller game, take the $ and run!
San Diego @ Cal Poly: Mustangs by 14
Northern Arizona @ Utah Tech: NAU
Northeastern State @ Northern Colorado: Maybe the biggest "who cares" game of the week? UNC
Northwestern State @ Weber State: Weber State
Stetson @ UC Davis: Aggies huge
Montana @ Oregon State: I'll take the Beavs, but won't be shocked if this is a game.

I saw in the paper today that Portland was a 57-point underdog to Oregon. First, I don't recall ever seeing a FBS/FCS line in the newspaper (San Jose Merc/East Bay Times), and I don't remember seeing a line this high maybe ever. They must be thinking Oregon is licking their wounds from that Oklahoma State loss. Tough way to start the season for the Vikings.

That is brutal, and if I were a betting man, I'd take it. Hell's coming with them...

You know, that's an interesting bet...but a spread that big requires an avalanche...and as focused as Oregon will be, it's a bad look to trounce your in-state FCS school by 80.

FanDuel shows us as 48.5 point favorites Anna over/under at something like 65.

I think., after last week’s game, I’d take the Hatters and the points. I think Plough does what he can to keep it from getting too bad.

The biggest wins by Davis in this century have been around 48 and 49 points margin.

I'd like to see a lot of guys play a lot of relatively meaningful snaps before the Hatters give up.

San Diego scores again 35-21. Could it be that 2 big sky teams fall to Pioneers league teams?

Any chance the game vs. Montana will be on national TV next week?

Montana is getting SMOKED by a winless OSU team.

not likely. At our time-slot, ESPN has Georgia Tech vs Stanford and ESPN2 has NAU vs Montana State. It will be streaming on ESPN+ and carried on a Montana regional sports network so historically we have been subjected to Montana’s choice of obnoxious commentator from that regional broadcaster rather than Scott and Scott. Our Eastern Washington game is scheduled to be on ESPN2.

it will probably be broadcast by the Montana based TV (roots?) and shown on the Plus. So, their broadcasters.
  • fugawe09

it is Scripps Sports but same idea. The point being, Montana affiliated broadcast crews, even covering away games, are historically very difficult to listen to because they don’t describe the game, they describe a delusional game in an alternative Montana-verse where the Griz have never earned a fair penalty.

Brutal loss for Cal Poly btw. Promising start to the season, but a very narrow win over a D2 team and a loss to USD is making their return to form look quite suspect. We'll see if Skipper turns it around.
