    Isn't Philz still popular?

Woodland / Winters must have some breweries. Woodland's Chicago Cafe, oldest Chinese restaurant in the nation (?) temporarily (?) closed.

You're making me reminisce when I used to study in the downtown coffee shops from 1990 to 1995.

Does anyone remember Cafe Tutti's, Cafe Roma, and a cafe that had a live jazz band outside when the weather is favorable?

I'm a Peet's guy, but like to shop local. Let me know your recommendations.

Roma was a great place to study, especially after getting notes and old homework/midterm solutions at the copy shop down the street.

Dude, I used to sweat my ass off in Mishka's doing Advanced Reinforced Concrete and Matrix Structural Analysis problem sets...hours, literally hours, just going nuts off their very, very good coffee.

Seeing the vs. Poly game in mid-November at the end of the regular season should be a hell of a turnout right before Thanksgiving. Looking forward to this one, we had a good game last year - and it'll be exciting to see where both teams are at - could be a game that means a lot beyond the typical connotations.

No known photos of the old location....I remember going nuts off coffee as a first-time drinker in college. It was incredible

Seeing those chairs brought back a lot of memories...I also remember in those '03, '04 and '05 seasons we had some pretty epic games with Poly...they had (and still do) some serious studs on defense. Always within a touchdown either way -- then we officially moved up and Poly went on to slaughter us for a few years under Ellerson -- '07 and '08 the Mustangs were dominant.

Then somewhere around 2018 - the year we were one defensive stop away from the Semi-Finals, the Aggies began to just annihilate the Mustangs routinely. Last year's game in SLO was hopefully an indicator of a return to competitiveness between the programs. Rivalries are only good when both teams are good.
