I have a hard time believing that Dieffenback wouldn't already be playing if he were healthy. They can say that Kelly got the start as a reward for the Sac State performance, but Dieffenbach has very distinctly been their best QB so far this season.

They said on the broadcast that he was available.

Stats are pretty even at the half. Aggies have a small edge in all but time of possession, but I would have expected the Ags to have a much larger edge in rushing yardage. Only 47 yards vs. 34 for SLO. Pinnick has kept them in the game on offense.

Plough and Shelton must have seen something they liked this week in terms of the pass game because it's been the Caden Pinnick show so far.

The band hasn't traveled for years though. Which isn't great. But they sometimes can't even show up for home basketball games which really frosts me.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Deiffenbach in the second half. 2nd string QB Grisby is also available. The offense is more dynamic with Deiffenbach. He has a bigger arm and can stretch the field. He can also scramble for big yards. Puts a lot more pressure on a defense.

Well when I was in the band-uh Poly would not allow the Band-uh to come to the game - or at least take the field. So we didn’t go. Some incident evidently but the ban - official or unofficial went on way to long as we let the Poly band come to Davis and take the field.

Strange coaching decision to not play your starting QB if he's ready to go. I'm not a football coach though, so what do I know.
